At the end of the training, all participants will realize the importance of a strong Food safety culture, good team work, effective communication and commitment at all levels or steps in food handling. It is all about consistent Good Hygiene Practices to ensure food and drinks is safe at the point of consumption.
Key learning objectives:
1. Identify the different food hazards.
2. State food allergen control activities.
3. State the good practices at Purchasing, Receiving and storage facilities.
4. State the Good Hygiene Practices during food preparation and Handling and common food allergens.
5. State the correct cooking, cooling and reheating temperature for each food category.
6. State the good practices for hot and cold holding of high risks food.
7. State the time and temperature control options for cooling hot food.
8. State the link between staff health, grooming and habits to food poisoning.
9. Identify the key lessons from FBI cases.
10. Identify ways to improve food safety culture.
This is a 1 day training program and costing is based on per pax costing with a minimum of 10 participants and maximum 20 participants.
